Scope 1 greenhouse gas emissions are direct emissions from sources the organisation owns or controls — fuel in boilers, site DG sets, fleet fuel, process emissions. GHG Protocol language is global; Indian BRSR and many customer questionnaires still expect it. Accurate Scope 1 starts with activity data (litres, kWh equivalent, process counts) and emission factors you are willing to defend to an assurer.
